NJ Web Design and Development Firm
At David Taylor Design, we’d like you to think of us as your superheroes when it comes to web development in New Jersey. A team of passionate and talented individuals dedicated to helping you achieve your marketing goals. We’ll protect your brand with our lives because what you stand for matters.
The team of experts at our NJ website design firm are committed to helping your company generate more business by developing websites that not only look great but that can be found when potential customers are searching for your products and services online.
David Taylor Design was born in 2007 when Founder and Creative Director, David Taylor, decided that he’d had enough of the corporate grind. After working hard for everyone else and believing that he could provide clients with better results and service, when it came to NJ web design and development, he decided to strike out on his own. Just a man and a dream. Well, over ten years later, that dream has turned into reality and now he’s created a company that’s growing by leaps and bounds every year.
With the help of his partner, Tanya Marks, their amazing staff, and their CMP (Chief Motivation Puppy) Pixel, they’ve been making waves all over the tristate area. Over the years we’ve become an award-winning design firm that everyone from small businesses to Fortune 100 companies have come to trust with their marketing and design projects. Want to know more? Check out our bios below, give us a call, or shoot us an email. We promise we don’t have any Kryptonite hanging around the office.
David Taylor is the Owner and Creative Director for David Taylor Design. He founded the company in 2007. He spends his time meeting clients, managing the creative process and keeps the business in tip top shape by pouring his heart, blood, sweat and tears into David Taylor Design. Outside of the office David enjoys a good ol' fashion karaoke night after a jam session (on guitar or piano) with his two daughters.
David used to perform in the circus doing high wire, fire eating, balancing and juggling and was invited to run away with the circus.
Tanya Marks wears many hats at David Taylor Design. As a Partner, her role encompasses everything from Business Development to Human Resources. Tanya works closely with clients and strategic partners to ensure they're receiving the best service possible. With over 20 years of experience in the customer service, Internet, video production, and financial services arenas, Tanya has worked with a wide variety of clients and companies. Originally from Charlotte, NC, she boasts Japanese and Cajun roots, and has never missed one of the JapaCajun Heritage & Agricultural Festivals held each year in Manitoba, Canada. Tanya joined David Taylor Design in 2010, and since then she and Dave have expanded the company three-fold. She loves live music, movies, cooking, eating, reading, hiking, reminiscing on her days as a first-chair violinista and hanging out with friends and family.
Tanya ran (and completed!!!) the New York Marathon in 2013. She is also PADI certified, so if it ever behooved her to, she could swim a marathon UNDERWATER.
Samin plans to name his first-born Nando, regardless of gender.
Alan is the Digital Marketing Manager for David Taylor Design. He does a lot of cool things for the company, but his main goal is to expand DTD into an international h̶o̶u̶s̶e̶ ̶o̶f̶ ̶p̶a̶n̶c̶a̶k̶e̶s̶ conglomerate. He dabbles in foreign languages, crossword puzzles and is a certified breakfast cereal aficionado in 48 states.
Alan has read an entire dictionary through, and is currently working on a much larger and nerdier dictionary.
Tina is the Production Manager at David Taylor Design and is a big reason we are the organized and efficient agency we are today. This is likely due to her possessing the rare double whammy of a design degree and a business mind. Tina is also our UX/UI design guru – you give her 22 minutes and a website and she’ll give you the world’s best online experience money can buy. In her spare time, she likes to hike, paint and travel. She also likes to paint herself hitchhiking with a traveling salesman who sells paint to foreigners traveling here to hike at their local nature reserve.
Tina once owned 40+ Chia Pets. Sadly, she lost them all in a horrific BBQing accident.
Stella or Stella de Vil (as she's known in certain parts of Bed Stuy), is a project manager with an eye for art and a brain for smart. She also has an extensive background in graphic design and the arts, which means nothing even remotely amiss gets passed her keen eye...for art. Some of her interests include yoga, art, musical theater, musical chairs, art, tabletop gaming and timetable stop naming.
Stella is Italian for fruit salad. Ironically, Stella hates fruit salad due to a weekend Wiggles retreat she attended in her youth that we are henceforth not allowed to talk about anymore.
“Jackie C. Jackie Do” is what they called her at Cornell, and as a project manager with a background in marketing, she can do just about anything you throw at her. Let’s roll through some credentials real fast: Hubspot - certified, Hootsuite - certified, Radio DJ – FCC Licensed baby. Selfie with Tom Hanks? – the proof is in the polaroid. In her spare time, Jackie enjoys music, musical theater, traveling, traveling to musical theater shows to scalp tickets, selling those scalped tickets to make money so she can purchase more music, and correcting her 2 Siberian Huskies’ poor Russian grammar.
Jackie has an identical twin. Jackie and her identical twin share a pet rock who recently gave birth to identical twin pet pebbles. Sometimes life is just adorable like that.
Pixel is our fearless mascot! We mean fearless because he'd probably let a mass murderer rub his belly if he met him. Hmm, maybe that's not a good thing. He's become quite the dog around town. Everyone loves him. He's friendly, cute, snuggly, and is always up for a good time. He's got a positive attitude and always wins MVP for being the most friendly staffer every month.
Pixel has many aliases including, but not limited to: P-town, Mr. P, Puppy Pants, and Poopy Poo
